When I was interviewing at First Presbyterian in Jackson, Ligon handed me a few books that I didn't have yet.  One of which was a paperback edition of Matthew Henry's Method for Prayer published by RAP.  No other book has so influenced the actual content of my prayers than that book  My copy is tattered, highlighted, and written in.  Henry's work on prayer is an absolute masterpiece of a book.  So you can imagine my excitement when I heard rumor that this site was in the making.  If you've never checked out Matthew Henry's work on prayer then you are missing out.  I consider it to be his greatest work—even more important than his commentary on the Bible.
